Taking The Back Roads

from 25.00

This bright yellow flower is one of the western species of Arnica in the Sunflower Family. A perennial herb with narrow leaves and a solitary yellow flower-head at the top of the stem. You can find them blooming across various parts of the landscape in June to August. This Arnica reaches for the warmth of the morning sun near Trout Lake in Yellowstone National Park, as an ant moves around on the backside. Image taken by Ann C. Skelton of Nature In Pixels. All prints are matted and hand signed.
